The Heiress and her Chateau

The Heiress and Her Chateau:  Carolands of California is the 100-year drama of a 100-room mansion; an architectural masterpiece, a murder site, and a three-dimensional window into life among America’s elite.

Carolands was built to be the ultimate dream home, but nothing went as planned. The story of the rise and fall and rise again of Chateau Carolands is a rollercoaster of a tale of wealth and ruin, love and loss, art and architecture – with a murder, a porno film, and a couple of earthquakes along the way. Spoiler alert – it all ends happily; courtesy of the 162nd richest man in the world, his wife, and a $50 million dollar restoration of the Chateau, now more grand and glorious than it ever had been – just in time for the cameras of Luna Productions and you!
