A short excerpt from the award winning documentary, The Story of Mothers and Daughters, as seen on ABC and PBS.

Separation – perhaps one of the most difficult stages in the mother-daughter relationship.

As one teenage daughter said to us, “The only thing more painful than leaving my mom, is the pain of being around her.”

We’re received dozens of thankful emails from moms about how viewing the film has helped them in this difficult time.  One mother wrote, “Now i understand: Speaking to my teenage daughter is like learning a foreign language.  I can do that, I just have to learn the language.”  Wrote another, “Amazingly, after watching the dvd my daughter came over and gave me a hug.  She hadn’t willingly talked to me for the last 3 weeks.”
